The Lymphatic System

Many people suffer from a weakened lymphatic system and when this occurs a wide range of problems which may not at first seem connected may appear. These may include eczema, asthma, acne, sinus problems, headaches, glue ear infections, swollen ankles, bronchitis and cystitis, as well as frequent colds and infections.

When your lymphatic system is boosted you will not only have much more energy but you will be less prone to infections and other illness and have far fewer colds. You will probably see an improvement in your skin and the brightness in your eyes.

Working constantly to fight infection and repair damage throughout the body the lymphatic system removes any foreign bodies, toxins and cellular debris from the tissues of the body transporting them to the lymph nodes where they are destroyed. (There are many lymph nodes in the body but there are groups of them in the arm pits, under the chin, in the groin and behind the knees). When the system becomes blocked by a major infection or frequent minor infections or overloaded by toxins problems can occur.

Despite all of this it is a system of the body which many people are unaware or simply ignore not realising how vital it is to our health and well being.

Depending on the area of the body that becomes congested the tissues of the body will react in different ways. This is why the symptoms can be so varied.
