Many people have a weakened lymphatic system and when this occurs a wide range of problems which may not at first seem connected to the lymphatic system may occur.  The most common of these are that people get frequent infections or are generally run down and tired all the time.  Conditions that are connected to the lymphatic system being sluggish are asthma, eczema, acne and sinus problems.

MLD has been found to help some children who suffer from severe congestion such as constant runny nose, deafness due to congestion and glue ear and who are frequently given antibiotics.  After a course of MLD the need for antibiotics and the frequency of infections may be greatly reduced.

MLD has been found to be an effective part of the treatment and management of lymphoedema.  This may result following surgery or be a familial issues.
